It's Time for a Mystery Again

Last year I participated in Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt.  It was fun although the timing with holiday family time was a bit busy and I've yet to actually quilt the top, so it was basically the start to my year of UFO creations.
When I was finished I told myself that I wouldn't do another one, but I find myself drawn again to this challenge.  This year is titled "Celtic Solstice" and I'm hoping that means that the design has a Celtic feel to it.  I also "met" a lot of my blog friends through the activity last year and that part was a lot of fun.

So....anyone out there participating this year?  KevinNancy? anybody?

  1. I'm going to pass this year. I'm not big on surprises. Plus, my daughter's baby's due in very early January, which means she could arrive anytime from the middle of December on (if she's like her brother). But I'll copy all the instructions and if I like the finished quilt, I'll be able to make one. It will be interesting to watch your progress, though, Nina.

  2. Hmmm - a Celtic theme - being 1/2 Welsh, I'm intrigued ...

  4. What a pretty quilt top. I did one of the mysteries early on in my quilting life and wasn't keen on the outcome, too busy, though perhaps it was my fabric choices. I'd like to do another to use up some of my fabric, but I don't think I have enough for one of Bonnie Hunter's quilts.
